Edward and Ann Roberts and 1 daughter Emma to New York on may 3 1843 and proceded to have 5 other children.James,Joseph,Elizabeth,Edward and Richard Henry. all born in New York. Edward was listed as a farmer in the 1850 Florence, Oneida NY Census.The family moved to Prince William,Occoquan VA in aprox.1860 once again listed as farmers.Emma does not show on the 1860 Va census.the family moved again to Alexandria Va. the 1870 census shows Ann widdowed and living with daughter Elizabeth and sons Edward, Joseph and Henry. James married Mary they had 3 daughters listed on the 1880 Alexandria census Ella, Mary and Maud. by 1900 edward is listed with Sarah as wife and 8 children, Annie,Susan,Lillian,Ettie,Benjamin,Richard,Bessie and Edward.all born in Alexandria Va.
Joseph married Sarah/Sallie Cleveland and had 7 sons and 1 daughter.
I have much data on Joseph and Sallie but almost none on the other children.
