Edward Jones Spender

I am trying to locate what happened to Edward Jones Spender born 24 November 1839 to Job Spender and Mary Jane Jones in Chelsea, St Luke, England. He is one of six children. Four were born in England and 2 born in South Australia.
Edward Jones Spender married Charlotte Elizabeth Bonnell 27 November 1865 in Blakiston, South Australia, Australia.
Edward and Charlotte had a son Morris Edward Spender born 27 Aug 1866 at Oakbank, South Australia, Australia.
Charlotte had another son, Newton Spender on 6 May 1869. Newton's birth certificate does not list his father. He grew up believing his name was Newton Reed. Charlotte Elizabeth married widower John Reed 29 April 1879 in South Australia.
I have not been able to find any reference/records of Edward Jones Spender or his son Morris Edward Spender. Charlotte Elizabeth Reed's obituary makes no reference to her son Morris Edward.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

On looking through Trove I found this.
It looks like there are two (or more?) families of Spenders living on the same farm. Also, Edward and Thomas had a double wedding at the farm on 27 Nov 1865. (You probably already know this?)
Morris and his cousin were born a month apart.- this might be a lead for you to find Edward?
SPENDER.-On the 27th August, at Inglewood Farm, near Balhannah, the wife of Mr. Edward J. Spender, of a son.
SPENDER.— On the 22nd September, at Inglewood Farm, the wife of Thomas J. Spender, of a son.

wittonga on 2015-09-05 20:07:46Hi, thanks for this I knew of the double wedding and the birth of Morris to Edward and Frank Henry to Thomas.
I have been able to find most of the Spender family and their off spring, however not Edward Jones or his son Morris Edward. The last mention I have of Edward Jones is in a newspaper article (found on Trove) where Charlotte Elizabeth Bonnell stated she had not seen him since 1869 (the year Newton was born and his name is not included on Newton's birth certificate).
