I am the great grandson of Ellen Simmons Ewington and Thomas Deverell and am trying to find out about her aboriginal identity.
Apparently I need proof of this to be accepted as aboriginal myself.
I have identified as aboriginal myself both at work and in discussions about identity.
Would appreciate any who has further information, knowledge and assistance about this subject.
