* Resided with her husband and children in Three Springs, where Albie was the local railway stationmaster 1926-1933
* Donor at the Gift Evening held for the North Midlands District Hospital in Three Springs on Wednesday 1 May 1929
* Founding Member of the Three Springs branch of the Country Women's Association in 1929, and Secretary in 1933
* Helped cater for the Anglican Church's Children's Fancy Dress Ball held in Three Springs on 28 November 1930
* In 1933 herself and her husband, trading as "E. & A. Stokes" were the proprietors of The Springs Hostel in Three Springs
* Along with her husband left Three Springs and shifted to Dongara in September 1933
* Prior to leaving they were given a send-off in Three Springs, to which about 150 people attended, on Saturday 23 September 1933
* At their send-off they were presented with a cheque from the residents of Three Springs
* Resided with her husband in the Railway House in Dongara
* Later resided in Bunbury WA
* Mother of Edna, Alma, Arnold and Doris
* Died 18 July 1981;
