I'm just starting to research the EDGECUMBE / EDGECOMBE family from New Zealand and their connections with these surnames on behalf of my mother-in-law - HARRIS, BROWN, HEWLETT, ALEXANDER, DEMARRA, MOYLE, and GRAY.

Website below is passenger list of the William Bryan ex Plymouth, England.

UPDATE:- Since writing this journal my mother-in-law has purchased a most amazing book from New Zealand which I am pleased to have in my possession, entitled "Faith, Hope & Courage" The Story of Edward & Mary Moyle and their Descendants. Authors: Elva Lynch and K.Fincham. This book won a Millenium Award from the NZSG. As an aside it has the 'Edgecombe Family Tree' back as far as the 15th Century.
