We are cousins if though a little distant, I also have traced my Tree back to John Watt 1709. I am the Great Great Grandson of George Watt 1822-1901, your George Watt who married Elizabeth was his son, my Great Grandfather, Francis was another of the sons. I have a copy of a photo of George & Elizabeth taken at the wedding of my Grandparents, James & Roberta Watt, Alford 1907. You have solved a mystery. The photo is simply titled Mr & Mrs George Watt. Now I can give Elizabeth a name. Could you let us know her maiden name. I would love to share information and photoes with you. I will contact you with my email address

I am Robert Watt born in 1941 near Dungannon in Co. Tyrone, Ireland.
My Watt family go back to 1730, still in Co. Tyrone.
Their names seem to be James, Hugh, William, repeat, repeat.
A lot of these family members had brothers who went abroad.
Do you have any ancestors born in Co. Tyrone??
