Fanny LUXFORD married to Alfred James WHITWICK ( born about 1860)

Query by AlisonParrack

After a brief rest , i am now trying to find out more about Fanny LUXFORD, who married James Alfred Whitwick, these would have been the maternal great grand parents to my own maternal grandmother, Charlotte Pelling born 1910 in Woking Surrey, died in 1910 Colchester , Essex. Does anyone know anything about when she married James Alfred Whitwick ? Or when she was born and died. All i know is about her husband , my maternal great great grandfather, and even that is scant information. I don't know how old she was when she married him, or what year it was, or when she was born or died. They had a daughter Charlotte , who was born in Cranliegh, St Nicholas,Surrey England, 1888, who became my mothers mum's mum...( my great grandmother, who's name i also carry as part of my name, but Fanny so far has no details other than her name .
Can anyone help, there were several Fanny Luxfords... but, some were born well before James Alfred Whitwick.... so might well have been too old to have had a child with him.

Here's hoping someone has found her in their family tree and can help .

Always hopeful,

Thank you .

It looks like Alfred was born about 1860 in Westbourne Hampshire and Fanny was born about 1857 in Wisborough Green Sussex.

according to the 1911 census Alfred & Fanny had 7 children all living (think it should be 9) and had been married 28 years, which would be 1883, the 1882 marriage above looks very good for being right. Living with them is Amelia 12yrs.

A copy of the marriage certificate above will give you more details on both them and their fathers.
