Thank you Kate for all the info on David Stewart Farquharson. His daughter Isabella Farquharson who married John Glen was my great grand mother. I was stuck on her family. iam still stuck on his husband John Glen's parents. He died in Dunedin in 1927 and is buried in Anderson's Bay. I know nothing of his parents or siblings.

Great to hear from you
I have a list of John and Isabellas children, but nothing else, bar a few marriages. I would very much appreciate to get more info on them.
I couldnt find a marriage for them, although did see they were married in 1883. Do you know where? Id be happy to help look for Johns family with you. I have lots of Isabellas family, esp her mother the GROSSERTS. Let me know what you want there. Look forward to hear from you again

Sorry Kate,
I have not got back to you. I have been a bit busy and have not had much time on the family tree. I still do not know much about John's family and Glen is a common name . I am a member of ancestory and have got my family tree on there (the Moore family tree) I have a lot of info on the tree including some photos. Yes I would like some more info on the Grossets .
A few days ago I received an email on ancestory from a RozieNZ thanking me for my family tree. She is meant to be a relation through Isabella Glen my grand mother Violet oldest sister . Howver I think she is confused as she has Isabella Glen married to a John Henry Hewitson in 1912 . In your family tree you have her marrying a James Smith. I have found that there is 2 Isabella Glen marriages, one in 1912 to a John Henry Hewitson and one on 1906 to John Mackie Smilth. I have also photos that my father gave me some time again with 3 women with the names of Alice, Joyce and Lorraine Smith stating tat they were his first cousins . How sure are you about the marriage of Isabella Glen to James Smith.
Also Isabella Faruharson and John Glen got married in 1883 in New Zealand . I am not sure where. Look forward to hearing from you again.
