Jean Baptiste Ferland Sr. lived in Quebec, there is a Jean Baptiste Ferland at Duck Bay, Manitoba, who was a Chief and resided with Aboriginals. The Jean Baptiste I was looking for had descendants. I would love to hear from anyone who has info on the Ancestors of Land Claims Settlements with the government. If anyone knows of a website for the Aboriginals of Manitoba, where the government hasn't yet censored it, please let me know.
