He sailed to Australia on the (PARMELIA) from CORK on the 29/10/1833 and arrived I think in SYDNEY on the 02/03/1834. Thomas received his pardon 48/199 on the 31/12/1847.

Thomas and Julia were married in ST NICHOLAS CATH.at MULGO near PENRITH. NSW on the 28/11/1841. I think they lived in this area for some time and than moved to the BRAIDWOOD/BUNGENDORE/QUEANBEYAN AREAS of NSW.
THEIR children tht I know of are:JOHN (1842-1915), WILLIAM (1844-1863)THOMAS (1847-1928), "TWINS -RICHARD (1850-1918), MICHAEL (1850-1933)",MARGARET (unsure when born but I believe she died 1951?), "TWINS-CATHERINE (1852-1936),MARY (1852-1853)",WINNIFRED (1855-1934),MARY.A (1857-1936),LAWRENCE (1859- not sure of his death as he had moved to Western Australia), JAMES known as Barney (1861-1930),JULIA (1863-1904), WILLIAM named after his brother (1865-1936?), and PATRICK (1872-1945). Hi there
Do you have any information on where in Waterford your ancestor Thomas Flynn originated from?
Thomas FLYNN (farmer) and his wife Julia Flynn lived at Butmaroo Creek near Bungendore. He died in 1880 and Julia in November 1885.
The Manaro Mercury, and Cooma and Bombala Advertiser, Sat 12 Dec 1885
On November 30 the Bungendore correspondent of the Queanbeyan Age writes : —
'Mrs. Julia Flynn, of Butmaroo Creek, was leaving M'Mahon's store, and had put her foot upon the step of her spring-cart, when the horse started, and she slipped down, and in grasping the reins she pulled the wrong one, which caused the animal to severely crush her between its shoulders and the post. She was immediately taken into Mr. M'Mahon's, where everything was done
to alleviate her suffering. About 6 o'clock in the evening inflammation set in, and she continued in great agony till 5 o'clock in the morning, when death put an end to her suffering.'
Their son William also died in 1863 in a riding accident at Butmaroo Creek.
The eldest boy John, inherited the property
