FREER of Desborough, Weldon Northamptonshire England

Journal by dustycarina

William FREER married Alice (possibly CARR) abt 1816.
William was born 1764 in Desborough to Thomas Freer and Ann SAGE, He was one of 9 children that i have found so far.
His siblings being Thomas, Grace, Ann, Mary, Catherine, Ann, Sarah and Hannah.
William and Alice had at least 2 children. i suspect there is more. And posibly Alice was Williams 2nd wife.

Jonathon William Freer was born 1817 in Great Weldon. He later mooved to Swindon and was on the railways there, where he learnt his trade, married and had a huge family of his own.
Jonathon mooved to Adelaide Australia in 1859 when South Australia needed tradesmen to build the railways. Along with his many sons that came with him.

Jonathon had a sister Ann born abt 1815 who married Henry Fox and lived in Great Weldon Where there were children born.

William died 1821.
Alice was with a Charles Greasding Gilby, and had a child to him in 1824.
Alice is useing FREER in 1841 census.

William had grandparents, Thomas Freir and Mary.
Thomas and Mary had 5 children, including Williams father Thomas.

Elizabeth married Thomas HAZELDINE 1741.
Grace married Thomas WARD/WOOD. 1748.
George married Mary ROWTHORN.
John married Mary SMITH 1772. If they spent Christmas together, this would have made for interessting conversation with so many Marys, Thomas's. I am a decendant of Jonathon.

I have been researching FREER for 10 years.
I would love to hear from decendants of the same familys.
