GEORGE SMITH "NEVA" 1833

Journal by LINDYJW

George Smith was my Great-Great Grandfather, a convict, transported to Australia. I don't know much about his early life, except that he was assigned to work for Joseph Onus at Richmond, NSW. He married my GG Grandma, Mary Farley (a free settler) and was granded a Ticket of Leave, and in later years he became a Bookmaker. If anyone has any information about him I would dearly love to hear it.

Descended from Martha Burrell, Robert and David Horton, Bridget Heslin and Robert Hobbs. My book "Lost and Found" is almost ready for publishing - tells the story of my family's origins.
