George TREASURE (7) bap. 2 Aug 1818 Stoke Lane, Somerset, England

George TREASURE was baptised on the 2nd August 1818 at Stoke Lane to Levi & Elizabeth TREASURE.

On the 11th April 1832 he was an inmate at the Ilchester Gaol.

At the Lent Assizes of 1832 he was found guilty of breaking into the dwelling of Jacob Pope and stealing a watch, for which he was sentenced to Death. Commuted to transportation for life.

On the 24th May 1832 he was transferred to the Euryalus Prison Hulk for boys at Chatham, Kent.

On the 31st July 1834 he died on the Canada Hospital Ship at Chatham, Kent.
