Obviously the wives had families too but for now I'm just concentrating on the male side with its repeating names and all came from pretty much the same area, assuming Fife and Fifeshire are very close.

Can anyone help confirm births deaths marriages? Any Sibblings, occupations, photos, or other clues.
Thanks in advance.

A good site to use for Scotland to find Birth Deaths & Marriages is the one below it is a pay to view site but well worth the money.

http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

As far as Fife and Fifeshire it's the same place, some say Fifeshire others shorten it to Fife, Cardenden is about 6 miles north west of Kircaldy and Kinghorn is about 4 miles south of Kircaldy so not far from each other.
