Hannah And George moved to London. In 1881 they were licensee,s of The plumbers Arms 14 Lower Belgrave Street London.and lived in Camberwell area .They moved To the Croydon Area before the first world war where most of their children were living in and around Croydon My Grandparents Frank And Louisa Gillard nee Pedrick were born in 1888 and 1889 respectively and were married in 1908 at St Johns Church Larcom Street Walworth.They met while working for Fred Karno's at 'the house of Fun Vaughan Road Camberwell his Theatre props and stage rehearsal place of work Frank and his brother in law Humphery parbutt were carpenters,Louisa known as Annie was wardrobe mistress verified in 1911 census . it was here that they worked with Charlie Chaplin who my Grandad Frank said wanted him to go to America with him My Grandad declined and was not sorry he did so as he did not like Charlie very much.
