May think how sudden I was gone
Death doth not always warning give
Therefore be careful how you live

THIS STONE IS ERECTED BY HIS TWO
SONS IN AUSTRALIA

Also JANE his Wife
WHO DIED MARCH 18th 1881
AGED 90 YEARS

Sleep dear Mother thy work is done
Thy toil is over thy crown is won
How sweet to sleep on that blest shore
Where pain and sorrow is no more
