GWYNNE - NSW - AUSTRALIA
I am looking for the descendants of John Joseph GWYNNE born Abt. 1805 Dungiven County Derry Ireland ( Parents Richard GWYNNE c1770 and ANN)
He migrated to Australia and married Annie Maria KENNY in 1871 at Camden NSW Australia. He died 1897 Wollongong NSW Australia where he worked as a Coal Miner at the Wollongong Colliery . They lived at Gwynneville NSW.
They had 6 children :
Eleanor T. GWYNNE b. 1871
John S. GWYNNE b. 1875
Annie G. GWYNNE b. 1883
Patrick Joseph GWYNNE b. 14 Jun 1885
William Horace GWYNNE b. 1887
Elizabeth F. GWYNNE b 1891
Any information about the Irish connection or the Australian dynasty would be welcome. (Especially the Gwynne's of Lismore and district NSW)

I'm a descendant via Eleanor & one of those who settled on the North Coast of NSW. I think there were more children then you have listed. Eleanor was called Ellen I think - Ellen Theresa - she was my G-Grandmother & referred to as "Grandma Simpson" by my father's generation. The Simpson refers to her second marriage.
Would love to find out more about the Gwynne's of the Far North Coast.
Hello, I'm a decendent of Patrick Joseph Gwynne, son of John Joseph Gwynne. Patrick Gwynne was my grandfather, he was married to Mary Isabele "Bella" Hutchinson. They had 5 children my mother the youngst, Nea Gwynne. Nea married Garnet Batchelor and had 5 children, oldest to youngest, Peter, Glen, Jann, Christopher & Stephen. I now live in the wollongong area. I would be happy to make contact with any other decendents and help to fill any gaps, also to find out about my family history.
