He married Sarah Elizabeth Dyson in 1857 in Victoria Australia
He died in 1891 in Victoria Australia

They had a son Charles Hawkless born in 1876 in NSW, Australia who married Laura Olive Josehine Prebble in Dannevirke, NZ in 1907
- Laura was born in Dover, Kent and died in Taumarunui aged 80
Charles & Laura had Edith May & Stanley Herbert Hawkless (and probably others)

John Henry Hawkless born 1871 in Victoria Australia, married Cecilia Margaret Granger Archer in Invercargill
William Hawkless born 1882 in Victoria Australia, married Clarice Blade in Auckland

Hi there, JOHN HEHRY HAWKLESS was my grandfather and I have done a lot of work over the years on the Hawkless name, but you never know it all and I`m sure that there is more to learn. I am paticulaly interested in the future of siblings of Thomas in Kent. Their family name was HAWKLEY and I believe that Thomas was the only one to change it to Hawkless. Other Hawkley`s wereSarah b 1784,Elizabeth 1787,Mary 1789 who married James BARR in 1812,Charlotte b 1791 who marr William MURS in 1813, Anne b1794 d 1846 who marr Henry BROAD in 1821, John b1797, and Thomas who married Mary Anne WRAIGHT in 1819. All these bapt and marriages took place at Luddenham nesr Faversham Thanks for your interest
