Hello 1949

My great grandmother was Eather Linder PEGG 1855 -1932. She was born in Feltwell, Norfolk and came to Australia with her parents William PEGG 1816-1875 and Mary Ann PEGG nee STOREY 1813-1884. William PEGG was a cordwainer, born in Tuddenham, Suffolk. When they settled in Australia in 1857 they started an orchard and vineyard but the latter enterprise folded with the phyloxera outbreak in the 1870s. There are still a few PEGG descendants but I have never met any of them personally.
I was stationed with the RAF at Swanton Morley, Norfolk and recall there being PEGGs in the local graveyard.

My wife is a Micallef. In her tree, we have an Adelina Carmen Micallef (b1908)/ Pegg marriage (unk, but circa 1925 onwards). Adelina's parents Carmel Micallef and Adelaide Zammitt, Carmel Micallef's parents were Paolo Micallef and Vittoria Attard both born pre 1855 in Valetta, Malta. Hi Rob, you and my father in Law, Robert (Rob) Micallef are 2nd cousins; You are also 2nd cousin once removed, to my wife, Helen Micallef; the connection through your Great Grandparents Paolo Micallef and Vittoria Attard. Your line is through their son, Carmel Micallef (b circa 1884); My wife and father in law's line through their son, (and Carmel's older brother), Antonio micallef (b 17 Aug 1873). Hello Greg. My mother's siblings were Paola 1905 , Manuel 1906 died young , Samuel 1907 , Josephine 1909 - 2001 , Lucy 1910 - 1913 , Antonio 1912 - 1979 , Maria Santa 1913 - 1915 , Helen 1920 , Dominic 1921 and Manuel 1922 - 1924.
The children of Paul Micallef and Victoria Attard I have as Carmelo , Antonio , Giovanni , Lisa , Marie and Kalino.
The parents of Paul Micallef I have as Lorenzo Micallef and Maria Concerts Psaila. They had Paul.
Lorenzo married again to Francesca Darmanin and they had Antonio.
I have more info from Anna Farrugia who is also connected through Antonio Micallef.
