Help....looking for relatives of Robin Waerea of Nuhaka, husband of Evalina Te Wehi.

I am looking for any information in relation to the whakapapa of Robin Waerea. Robin is my grandfather. His daughter is Robina Cameron nee Waerea. I am tracing my whakapapa, I know nothing about where I come from except the information I have here. I would like to write my pepeha, but have little or no information. I know we are Ngati Kahungunu, but need to find our marae, hapu, chief, etc I would love any information that anyone can offer

RogerWNZ on 2015-04-29 16:51:02Kia ora Mateo. A search of https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz has given this info: DEATH: 2006/17637 Waerea Robin Daniel Tama born 14/7/1922, aged 84Y. There are 54 names in the Waerea list of deaths. Searching under Births & Marriages gives much fewer names. There are three "Robina Camerons" in the death search. That's a start. Good luck in tracing your whakapapa.

My name is Linda Cameron, I am also looking up my family history. My mother's name is Robina Cameron and her father was Robin WAEREA. I know that he separated from his wife and that my mother had two half siblings Edna and Tama.... I don't know much more at this stage. Would love to compare notes.
