I have information back to James H Hicking of Milford Derbyshire born around 1795, but very little. I have him as married to Hannah Bartholomew in 1818, and his son Samuel, born in 1820 in Melford, Belper, Derbyshire England, is my great great great great grandfather.
His son Samuel emigrated to Australia along with two of his brothers in the mid 1800's.
I'd very much appreciate any further information on this branch of the family.

He arrived on the 25 Oct 1841 on the ship "Ayrshire" Occupation, Farm Servant.

I have pretty much everything from Samuel onward.
I'm most interested in his parents and ancestors. We've drawn a blank on James, Samuels fathers parents, so if they have anything beyond him we'd be incredibly appreciative.
