hi,
some hintons go back to Plymouth (Plimouth) Plantation, Mass. (near Plymouth rock).do a search for "jesse hinton family tree" that will take you to N.C. Ms. and La. (Texan, Deputy Hinton followed Bonnie and Clyde to bordeer Ms. and La. and with others killed them.) dig deeper and you will end up in HINTON ENGLAND! we go back to Charlemagne (sp?) !!
if you respond to this info i can organize my info and advise you further,
i am granddaughter of Hugh HintonIII who came after both Jesses. many hintons sided with Brits in the revolution. hintons had 18 plantations. checkout "Moving Midway " on YouTube.
