My wife's grandfather was adopted around 1900-1910 by a farming family near Clinton, MO. His name was Henry HOARD (later Kinyon). 1900 census lists him as servant in the KINYON household. The 1910 census lists him as Henry Kinyon. Can't find any record of the HOARDs. Anyone have HOARDs in western Missouri in your family tree? This is a frustrating dead-end on one branch of the family.
