How to find a death certificate in Switzerland 1899

Question by janeaust

I have recently found out my great uncle James Finlayson died in Davos Dorf Switzerland in 1899. I am assuming he went there for a cure from tuberculosis. I would like to find his death certificate. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction. An interesting twist to his death is that he was buried in Bathgate Scotland. How he got there would be another interesting story.
If anyone could help,I'd appreciate it.

Office Municipal de l'Etat Civil

Case Postale 6327

This I think is their current email address; etat-civil@ville-ge.ch
If it isn't you will have to write with all the details.
