Hi, thank you for helping me I now have birthdates. Hans Jacoby born 1895 in Bennickenstein Germany the town name is now changed and I don't know the new town name? His wife Elfriede Waehlack born July 26, 1900 in Hartz, Germany. These were my grandparents and the both eventually immigrated to the USA through Ellis island to Chicago. I am trying to see if any relatives are left in Germany?My fathers name is Joachim albert Jacoby born in Germany he is now in his late 70's and was born on March 23,1937.

thanks wizard28 these are the correct people! I am trying to see if any Jacoby"s or Wehlack""s are still in Germany or another country. I am in touch with the Jacobys in the Chicago area but not the Wehlacks .Sincerely,Spike9
