I'd to request assistance on the Brennan name and to locate daughter of H Tiger Brennan in the NT of Australia.
Tiger Brennan worked throughout the Top End of Australia in the Northern Territory around the 1940s onwards.
His daughter was put in an island mission at Garden Point on the Tiwi Islands. The daughter was sent to Sacred Heart College Geelong Victoria.
I am a Caseworker with NTSGAC which is a Stolen Generation organisation. Any information would be gladly appreciated.

Hi,
If you do not get any response from this site, then I suggest you put a posting
on rootsweb. You have to join so that if anyone responds then a message goes
to your in box. I have had good responses from this site. When you go into the
site, then go to message board, click on that and it will take you to the boards.
There are a number of counties in Australia and if you wanted you could post on
them all. Keep in mind not to put anything too personal as everyone will see
it. I live in Ontario, Canada. What is the stolen generation organization?
I hope this will help in your search.

TRACKING FAMILY
H.'Tiger' Brennan, miner, prospector, worked the Ray mine at Maranboy in the 1940s.
Maranboy named a street after him I think Katherine did too. My father went up to Rum Jungle in the 1950s as an engineer for Whitby's in the uranium mine, he lived at Batchelor. I went up there one Christmas holiday from boarding school, that's when I met Tiger Brennan. I was only about 9 or 10 and don't really remember him but decided after those holidays I wanted to be called 'tiger' Of course my mother soon put that notion out of my head.
His name was Harold.
Since SHC is a secondary college I'm assuming the daughter was about 12yrs old when sent to Melbourne. Do you have her name?
Thank you for your response and the information above. I am unable to give names so I do say sorry for that.
