Bertha Moses, formerly Weiscotch You're not the only one having trouble. I think the problem is Civil registration wasn't introduced until 1874 before that, the Lutheran Church held the records, and the Jewish records would certainly have existed. I would say the Polish State Archives holds the records, of course they charge you big bucks if you want them to have a look.

Hi , yes thanks for the info i think you must be right and thank you for the reply, the link above is as far as i have been able to get to so far with the pic being an old one mum had with Bertha Kate and Annie.
