In need of help researching SITZ family,my grandmother Alice Elizabeth birth date 1869 wed George Washington Cox,they were both from around the Fredericktown,Knob Lick Mo. area I am at a deadend without help,I believe she had sisters with names like Missouri,Carolina,Mississippi.Thanks in advance for anything you may be able to add to my Sitz or Cox search.

Most of the Seitz family in Madison County, Missouri can be traced back to Peter Seitz. There are various spellings of the last name. You might want to try any or all of the following: Seitz, SItzes, Sitze, Sitz, Sides, Side, etc. Peter Seitz was my GGGG Grandfather.
