Not sure if this is in your line, but I have Thomas Burridge Owen and some Owens born in Vic. Will try and check for you as I have all family on 'My Heritage' site
Thanks Shelley, although I am yet to come across a Thomas Burridge Owen. Any assistance could be very helpful.
Regards, Bob
Why don't you try tracing them through their children although only a few survived.
Frances 1859-1862, Elizabeth Mary b:1861 d: ?, Mary Ann b:1862 d: ?, Frederick James 1863-1864 lived 7 months, William Goddard b: 1866 d: 1919 at Queenscliff,
Thomas Benjamin b: 1868 d: 1873, Richard George b: 1868 d: 1869 lived 10 months,
Sarah Ann b: 1870 d:?
William Goddard would probably be the easiest, The girls Elizabeth and Mary Ann and Sarah probably married which would mean hunting down the marriages first.
Hang on Thomas Benjamin 1868 survived, it was Benjamin George died 1868-1869.

Hi Janilye,
In your second last post you stated that Thomas Benjamin died, but I cannot find any death for him at all? ( I have looked at ALL the indexes that I have (right up to 1985), but I cannot seem to locate him, is there any other way to locate his death / Marriage? I tried variations of his name, his place of birth and even variations of his parents names. Any suggestions?
Ps. Thanks for the info on Cr. William Goddard Owen.

No I can't find a death for Thomas Benjamin either.
Thank you, i appreciare all that you have done, maybe he moved interstate? Any how i will continue the search.
Thanks again, Bob
I feel that it is unusual to have the same name unless it is a family name in two succesive children for instance 'Benjamin' do you think Thomas Benjamin may have died in infancy?
Sometimes infant deaths are registered as Infant with no given name.
Also note Benjamin's death leaves off the George. I searched for just Thomas Owen in deaths and did find a couple in Victoria with father's name Thomas but proved they were not children of Sarah Boobier
Thanks Janilye,
For all your hard work, its appreciated. I know its a mystery, a proverbial "brick wall" at this stage, but maybe he grew to adulthood and moved interstate? I found one Owen in NSW who fits the dates but unless I get the Death Certificate I will never know.
So, for the moment I will let it lie, and proceed to the many other branches that need my attention.
