Hi GeeWhiz,

There is not a country- or continent-specific version of FamilyTreeCircles. However, there is a very strong representation of Australian researchers here, so if you have.

We are working on a way to easily tag posts by country and other criteria, so it will be easier to filter posts in the future.

In the meantime, I encourage you to scan for titles that you may be able to answer, and ask any questions you have, request help to find people, and post your own ancestor stories and information as journals, and people who can help will find you.

Hello GeeWhiz.

Scott has answered your question, and I'm not aware of any sites that just cater for Australian research. There are a lot of Nationalities in Australia and many of them are trying to locate their family lines before coming to Australia, so it is a very big circle.

I have never hesitated to recommend this site to others trying to find family lines in Australia, and I doubt if you will find a better site on the Australian side of things.

Finding the information you want may be here but can be hard to find. When entering a surname in the search box above it will take you to all the journals containing that surname, including given names.

If you cannot find what you are looking for here put some details together in a journal.

As Scott pointed out, members will find you.

Cheers.
