Jacques in Brownsville, Pa.

Question by mullenpm

I need information on the family of my 2d-ggrandmother, Amanda Melvina Jacques. She was born in Brownsville, Pa. on July 11, 1811, the daughter of John Jacques. Her mother's surname, I believe to be Hampton. I do not have a given name. Amanda had two sisters: Esther and Catherine.

Amanda married Matthias M. Hook; she died in Indianapolis, Ind. on August 12, 1896.
