Through this site I was able to gain information on purchasing a copy of my great grandfathers (Joseph Dawson) marriage certificate. I did purchase the same and found his father was James Dawson. James had already been deceased at his son's marriage (to Lily Rimmer)that took place in Nov of 1901.
Any ideas of how I can dig further into James life to find out: his wifes name, other childrens names etc..
