Kirby and Son, Ltd., 205 Elizabeth street, city, THIS SATURDAY, at 2.15pm, for the Church of England Cemetery, Rookwood.

on 15 July 1908 George Torstenson, above, and Ada & Charles Torstenson below, were attending the St James Sunday School at Pakenham when they received prizes. Charles was in the 3rd class and came 1st. George was in the 4th class and came 3rd equal with Gordon Webster and Ada Torstenson was in the infant class

- he was 1 of 12 children of Thomas William LITTLE & Mary Emily GROVES of Kuripuni, Masterton. (His 1st wife in 1915, was Mary Alice DALEY who died in 1945)
NOTE - a sister of George Thomas Little, Mary Ellen Little, married Sidney COE in Masterton in 1905. It was their daughter Olive May Coe who married Kathleen's father, Charles Richard Torstenson, above

5 September 1929 - MINYIP, Victoria, Wednesday - Following the "hold-up' of Ali Mahome KHAN, Indian Hawker, at Sheep Hills, on August 24, Peter Alexander Torstenson, appeared in the Minyip court to-day, befor Mr Wilson,P.M., and Messrs, R.D. Young and J. Barnes, J.P.'s. Torstenson, who was undefended, pleaded guilty to having been armed with an offensive weapon, when he attempted to rob Khan, and to having, at Sheep Hills, stolen a nickel watch and ?8 5s 3d from the dwelling of Clement Oswald Baker, farmer. Torstenson was committed for trial at the Melbourne Sessions, on September 15
5 July 1932 - MELBOURNE. William O'Connor, aged 33, labourer, of Rae-street, North Fitzroy, was admitted to Melbourne Hospital late on Saturday night in a critical condition, suffering from broken ribs abd a fractured skull. O'Connor was at a party at his home, and a quarrel arose. He was attacked by two guests and knocked down and kicked.
Augustine KERR, 27, of Fitzroy, and Peter Alexander TORSTENSON, 23, of West Brunswick, have been arrested and charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on O'Connor
