I found some information posted several years ago. I am a descendant of this family. they were my great great grandparents. Their daughter Anna Maria Marshall b.19.7.1869 - d 31.3.1938 married Frederick Westbury b 3.5. 1862 - d 14. 4.1943. they lived in Johnsonville, then moved to Lower Hutt New Zealand.
The only information I have of the Marshall's is that they landed in Nelson in 1842. After a few years residence in the Nelson district they left to try their luck at the Bendigo diggings in Australia, but after a short while returned to New Zealand and settled at Johnsonville where Anna Maria was born, being the youngest of a family of fifteen, who are listed in the 2008 listing of this site.
I only have names and married surnames for Elizabeth Jane ( O'Loughlin) Emma,(J. Hobbs /G. Crowe) John Isaac, Sarah,(Martin) Alice, (Pat Crowe)William, Thomas Edward, Frederick, Alfred, Anna Maria, Frederick Westbury) Mary (J. Gray/Swan)
I would appreciate any further information.

Phil_Drew on 2013-05-17 00:51:01Hello emvee, You mention J. Hobbs/G. Crowe and Pat Crowe. What further information do you have about them. My interest is in the Crowe's who arrived 1813 in NSW and settled as far south as the Murrumbidgee and Murray Rivers in the 1850s.
