JOHN BRISLANE, convict McLeay River

Journal by janice49436710

I am looking for the family of John Brislane, who was a convict sent to Australia. He sailed on the convict ship the "Forth" from Cork and arrived in the colony in 1835.

In 1856 he married Rosanna Kinnavan (Canavan) who was also born in Ireland and together they had eleven children.

They settled on a property which was called "The Bend" at Knorrit Flat just outside of Taree.
