I am searching for anything on John Forbes , I know he was married to Ann Thow in 1825 and they had three children Ann , David and Mary , but John Forbes died early and I am looking for this information as well as anything on his parents , Grandparents .....

SilverVixen on 2012-06-17 03:39:57He shows up in the 1841 Scottish Census with wife Ann and children Ann, David and Mary. Again in 1851 birth is shown as 1799 in Glentamer. Ann is a widow in 1861 so John died between 1851 and 1861. In Scotlands People I did a search in Old Paris Registers fro Forbes John 1799 - 1799 Aberdeen and it threw up 2 records. They may or may not be your John Forbes but you need to buy credits to find out

mmcq on 2012-06-17 13:42:14Last week I joined Scotlands People and I already used up one set of credits just on John Forbes alone !!, But they are cheap and I have another set to use . I have not looked at the 2 entries I think I started going in the wrong direction with my search.
