Johnsons in history

Journal by chrisjohnson

I've been researching my family history for over 26 years. Due to some "road blocks" I joined Ancestry.com. I have traced back, on my direct line to Anthony Johnson 1600-1670 of Lincolnshire, England. His son was Col Richard Johnson of Bilsby, Lincolnshire, England.

I'm currently building a list of relatives. According to my account with Ancestry.com, I have over 90,000 names. 1,200 are of the Johnson surname.

I would love to see these lists of Johnson family names. I have only been redearching my Johnson (and Hays,Brtunoldi,Collier) family a couple of months but have found little I didn't already know. And there is just so much out there. I don't know where to turn next!!

I'm also researching my Johnson family tree. We have found a lot of 'mysteries' and road blocks also!! My ancestors include: pheobe JOHNSON and Thomas SHUTTLEWORTH; George and Druzilla JOHNSON (George's 2nd wife); Ann JOHNSON; William and Frances JOHNSON
Any of our relatives the same? Cheers bec
