Looking for Robertson ancestors in Perthshire

I am looking for further details on and ancestors of my GGGgrandfather Robert Hepburn Robertson of Perthshire.

He married Joanna Elder Henderson on Jan 22nd 1866 in Edinburgh, Midlothian and their family later lived in Dundee.

I have been unable to find birth records including date/location for Robert. The record of his marriage were found on the IGI but were not detailed.

Theri children's names were Joanne, Jenny, Bill, Alice, and James Millar. The only birth details I have for any of them is for my ancestor James Millar Robertson who was born in Dundee on Oct 28 1877.

Any info on this branch of the family would be greatly appreciated.

My mother was born Joanna Elder Henderson Robertson. She died in 1976 and was born in about 1894 marrying my father Philip Mascie Domville Wynter. Her father was a master mariner, John Robertson and her mother a Baillie. Have you any comments on this?
