HANKA/ HANKER (AUGUSTA) and (WILHELM)

Journal by Amber99

Looking for ancestors of Augusta Hanka (known later in her life as Augusta HANKER

Her full name that is listed on her daughter's death certificate is
Augusta Dorothea Elise HANKER.
She died 29 September 1933 and is buried in Feilding, NEW ZEALAND.

I beleive she was born in Germany though. Approximately 1866.

Her fathers name may have been WILHELM CARL HANKER born about 1828 and BURIED in Feilding, New Zealand on 12 August 1905. (Would have died a few days earlier).
Her mother's name first name may have been Dorothea, but this is not confirmed.

Augusta married Thomas Heayns

I have information of Augusta's descendents, but am wanting more info of her ancestors.

Please email me if you can help.

Also email if you know anything about Augusta Bismarko Hanker who married Julius Bulst.

Thanks
Amber in New Zealand

I would be interested in confirming that your Grandmother was in fact part of the Hanka/Hanker family even though she wasn't thought to be part of it in a book I have, "Hanker Family Tree" compiled by Marcia Pointon. She came to NZ as an adopted daughter of the Bismark family. My Grandmother, Mabel Marie Neverman, spent many holidays with the Bulst family. Hope we can get in touch
