Where did James Wallis of NH come form?

Journal by Gloria13

James Wallis was born 1695, possible Scotland or Ireland. He was a weaver & a farmer. He married Mary Snow in1730 in Leicester, Worchester, Massachusetts. Mary was born in 1698 and her father was Eli Snow.
They had 3 children Agnes b. 1730, James b. 1733 and John b. 1736.
James died in 1746-1747 Leicester, Worcester, Massachusetts. Mary died Feb. 1769 in Colrain, Massachusetts.

James married Mary McClellan on 8 April 1756. John married a Mary on 31 Oct. 1761.

I have all their descendants and this information has been published in
FAMILY HISTORY OF LEONARD WALLACE WRITTEN By Jean Wallace Sauder in 1979. We were never able to go any farther back than this James Wallis.

Any help or ideas will be welcomed!
