winifred emma mary gentleman was born in queenstown, tasmania 23 december 1902, to john gentleman and mary eliza nee(beck). when her mother died in 1904 presumably in tasmania , we dont know where winifred went from that time until she married spencer samuel amber inadelaide 19 may 1928. i have information that she went to school at ulverstone primary schoo and on one of her admission papers her father was her parent and on another robert beck her maternal grandfather is her guardian. her father remarried in melbourne and remarried injune 1907 but it seems that he didnt take emma with him. i am unable to find out what happened to her between about 1904 and when she married spencer samuel amber in adelaide 1928, is there anyone out there who can help me
