I am looking for information on Anthony Meehan b Ennis, County Clare, Ireland and emmigrated with family (all at various times). I believe his father and mother were already here, his father being a convict and his mother coming after to join her husband. Anthony was sponsored by his brother Cornelius. Jan.

Hello,

I was recently searching Trove Newspapers for a Daniel Meehan and there
were several mentions of Meehan's living at Muswellbrook. My Daniel Meehan came out with his wife Jan on Strathfieldsaye in 1838, but when first researching these two people there was a Daniel Meehan and a Jane Meehan who came to Australia as convicts, both for stealing corduroy material.
