im searching for my grandfather CHARLES VICTOR STEVENS
He was born in SOUTHWARK LONDON in 1863. His father was Stephen Stevens (stevins)and mother was Maria.

Tips: Try and see if rootschatters can find your grandfather and his family on the 1871 Census. Goto RootsChat.com and click on their England counties, then England board, then click on London. Read what others have written first before posting.

Hopefully you have much more information after this, including maiden surname of your great grandmother as I would anticipate it will be very hard to research a popular and common surname like STEVENS/STEPHENS.
