My name ia Mark McDaniel,I was born in Santa Cruz Ca.4/22/1962. My dad was 22 yrs.old when I was born. I grew up in the merced and atwater Ca. area. My parents split-up when I was 5 yrs. old. My dads name is Gerald Melford McDaniel he was born in Modesto Ca. on 2/5/1940 not sure if this is the right date.He now lives somewhere in Florida. His siblings names are Delbert, John, Vicky and twin sisters Geraldene and Ettajean (Bernard)not sure of this name in parenthesis. My Grandfathers name is Loyd McDaniel and Grandmothers name is Hattie. My dad has a cousin name John Builderbach.

This ancestry has been hard to research since my mom only has limited information and still harbors ill feelings about my dad. I feel that there are some skeletons being kept in the closet. However I'm curious enough to keep trying to research my ancestry inspite of the dead ends I've encountered.
