Hi Rick,
It appears we have a family connection. My great-great-great grandparents were William Richard REDDROP and Margaret WILLIAMS. They came out to Australia in 1863 with eight of their children. The oldest son, Joseph, came out in 1861, to find a place for his family to live I expect.
Joseph married Mary EYLES in Malmsbury in 1865 and they had eleven children. Their sixth child, Mary REDDROP, married John BBREREDON 1893 in Kyabram and they had nine children. Their second child, Mary Ann Sarah Jane BRERETON married Joseph Henry TONKIN in 1913 They were my grandparents. I'm not sure where you come into it but I expect we are cousins.
If your interested in exchanging and confirming various event dates and places would like to hear from you.

Hello, we are cousins, because as covered in my journal, my great grand father Matthew Mitchell Bourke married Frances Rebecca Reddrop, she being one of William amd Margaret's children.
One of Matthew and France's children, William was born in Elmore in 1882, he married Minnie Frances Theresa Whitlow, (in 1910) one of their daughters was my mum Mavis Kathleen Bourke (born 1912) who then married my dad Stanley George Silverwood in 1934. That's a brief summary, so I would be interested in following up each of what we have on both Reddropp and Bourke families.
I do subscribe to: ancestry.com.au and have our family history on that web site.
I now have just transferred over to a NEW email address: ricksilverwood@optusnet.com.au
Loooking forward to hearing from you soon, cheers Rick Silverwood.
