I have a great great uncle that I cannot find any information on. Here is what I know or have been told. Charles Mitcheltree did some military time unknown which branch, he supposedly married a woman named Birdie McGee who was either black or Indian from India. She was supposedly a fortune teller and went by something similar to Princess Fuzwald? They ran off together and left Pennsylvania and supposedly died in Arkansas. Charles Mitcheltree was born November 21, 1882 (i think that was the year...i'm starting to wonder) his parents were Charles Henderson Mitcheltree and Allia Pauline Furey DeGarmo Mitcheltree (2nd marriage for her). There is so much more to this story that I dont want to post much more because I cant tell fact from fiction. I found a 1910 census record that shows a Charles G. (or J.) Mitcheltree 27 yrs old with a spouse named Fusrob aged 23 yrs. Home in 1910 shows Colorado Springs Ward 2, El Paso, Colorado. It also lists both Fusrob and Charles' occupation as clairvoyants. Then I find a Charles G. Mitcheltree in 1920 Census in Illinois showing age 39 yrs old with spounse Jenie Mitcheltree aged 38 with a child named Tuswr Mitcheltree aged 5 yrs. Shows Charles' occupation as "show man" and location of employment "out doors". Both census' show Fusrob and Jenie as being born in India with parents born in India and Charles being born in Pennsylvania. I found a marriage record for a Jennie B. McGee who married a Charles G. Mitcheltree on June 24, 1907 in Chicago, Cook County, IL. And lastly I found two registration draft cards. One for World War I showing name Charles G. Mitcheltree living in Iowa with date of birth November 21, 1880 with spouse name of Mrs Jennie Mitcheltree. and the 2nd draft card was for World War II showing his residence to be in Mississipi County, Arkansas, spouse: Mrs C.G. Mitcheltree. Cannot put it all together and cannot find the child who in 1920 was known as Tuswr Mitcheltree (female child by the way). Cannot find anything on either of the deaths.
