My mother-in-law is Winifred Gurnhill (nee Surgey) born 20th November 1915 passed away 20th November 2007. She has lived in New South Wales for the past 61 years.

Her family home was 87 Redhill Lane and Win last had a letter from her youngest sister Bett Hurst who was then living in 29 Nursery Road Arnold.

Win's brother Albert passed away in 1987 and was laid to rest with his parents.

There is very little known by Win's surviving children - Kenneth Gurnhill, Valarie Cuthbert and my husband, the youngest of the three, David Gurnhill.

David and I are going to England in August 2008 to return Win's ashes to the area of her birth. Anyone with information about surviving family in England - could you please let us know.
