Looking for relatives of First Fleeter John Small and Mary Parker

I am a relative of John Small convict from the Charlotte and Mary Parker convict from the Lady Penrhyn. He owned land in the Ryde area. A lane is named after him.

My mothers mother was a Small from that linage. I would like to know the linage I came from. I am one of three children and have two of my own.

I know Sir Bruce Small (of Queensland) was a relative (possibly 2nd cousin) to my mother. There was some suggestion that Lady Fairfax was some distant relative also. Not sure where or really if. Is there a family crest etc??

Please help.

My name is Len Woodhouse the Woodhouses married into the small family and i have a cd called The Small Family in Australia 2007 put out by the John and Mary Small Association Inc wich has a lot of smalls and woodhouses as well as patfields in it but in pdf form it covers around a 1000 pages so i dont think i could send it to you you might be able to chase it up yourself there is also a book called John Small the first fleeter put out by Molly Gillon
