Go straight to RootsChat register as a new user, free site also, then find their England boards --> the counties relevant to your journal.

Have a read on how to post a new topic. Then submit a 'lookup request' working backwards through the Census years 1901 is available in some areas, 1891, 1881, 1871, 1861, 1851, to 1841.
