Alexander born 1865, Aberdeen; and Georgina born 1869, Caithness - married each other in 1892 in Aberdeen. My great-grandparents.

I have some info (names and dates) for both sides going back to two further generations to an earlier Alexander McKenzie, born about 1804 who in 1824 married Catherine Christie (b abt 1804), in Aberdeen.

Reputedly, we are descended from McKenzie of Applecross, who hid Bonnie Prince Charlie when he arrived over from Skye, prior to Culloden.
